Practicing mindfulness is about giving yourself tools to more skilfully navigate discomfort and stress in your life- it's not about an empty mind!
Living mindfully in this busy, hectic, modern world takes more than listening to a few guided meditations.
Drawing on my training in yoga, meditation and clinical medicine- I teach with an understanding of:
- Behaviour change psychology.
- Lifestyle medicine and healthy habits.
- Neuroscience
- The physiology of stress and the importance of rest in completing the stress cycle.
The goal being that by the end of this training, your body and mind call you to meditate and be mindful- rather than it being simply another thing you need to add to your to-do list.

Hi, I'm Dr Emily Amos
I'm a GP who has been teaching mindfulness to doctors, medical students, parents and workplaces for nearly a decade. But it wasn't until I experienced burn out for myself in 2019 that I realised that mindfulness alone isn't enough- we also need to learn how to practice self compassion as well.
With expertise and qualifications in lifestyle medicine, yoga, meditation and mental health I now combine many different tools to make mindfulness, meditation and self compassion not only simple but sustainable.
